Maurice is at the family home in Yorkshire, when his younger brother Lawrence surprisingly drops by, hoping to see their Mum and Dad - but neither are at home.

The conversation then turns to an explosion in the city centre and the shocking aftermath in the local hospital where Lawrence works. An even darker tone later emerges when the pair discuss the demise of their sister Polly.
